Air Jet Weaving Machine and Rapier Weaving machine Have Different Characteristics

T/R is mainly woven by air jet weaving machine and rapier weaving machine. In general, the thin and exquisite and high-density fabrics are suitable for air jet looms. The fabrics for men and women in spring and summer are almost all made by air jet weaving machine; while the thick and thick T/R fabrics like autumn and winter are generally made of rapier weaving machine.

Determine whether a T/R fabric is a woven fabric or a jet fabric, which can be viewed from the edge of the fabric:

1. Generally, the polyester cotton thread is a rapier (locking device), and the filament is a jet weaving (planetary gear device).
2. One side of the jet double-open fabric is a thread and the other side is a filament. (The middle is the seaming device, and the two latitude planetary gears are installed).
3. Both sides of the rapier double-open fabric are polyester-cotton threads (both are seaming devices).

Weaving machine division

Rapier weaving machine: Use a rigid or flexible rapier head to bring the grip and guide the weft.  In addition to suitable for weaving plain weaves and woven fabrics with obvious lines, the rapier weaving machine is characterized by easy color change and suitable for multi-color weft fabrics. It is suitable for the production of yarn-dyed, double-layered velvet fabrics, terry fabrics and decorative fabrics. Therefore, the color-dyed Tencel fabric with more color matching is generally woven by a rapier loom.
Air jet weaving machine: The weft yarn is drawn by the jetted compressed air stream, and the weft yarn is carried through the shed. The most important feature of air jet weaving machine is its high speed and high production efficiency. It is suitable for general T/R fabrics with three original tissues (plain, twill and satin), fine high density and large volume.
