Air jet loom is the fastest growing shuttleless loom in recent years. However, its energy consumption is much larger than other shuttleless looms, which increases production costs. The energy consumption of air jet loom depends mainly on the amount of air consumption, so reducing air consumption is a problem that all
air jet loom manufacturers pay great attention to.
The weft insertion system of the air jet loom includes: main nozzle, auxiliary nozzle, special-shaped cymbal, electromagnetic valve and gas storage tank, etc., and the gas consumption should be mainly sought from the above aspects.
Correctly adjust the optimal position and pressure of the main nozzle
Poor installation of the main nozzle position will increase the spread of the airflow emitted by it, affecting the weft entering the shed and wasting gas consumption. The main nozzle mounting position is primarily dependent on the distance between the main nozzle and the first profiled molar. Generally, the following formula is used as the calculation basis: ds=6.8(a.s+0.147do) (s refers to the distance from the measured point to the nozzle exit, ie the range. a refers to the nozzle turbulence factor. do refers to the diameter at the nozzle exit. ds refers to the diameter of the jet cone from the nozzle exit s section). In order to make the jet into the shaped tank as much as possible, it is very valuable to calculate ds. In the actual installation, the size of the s value can also be adjusted by the stroboscope to observe the size of the airflow cone entering the profiled groove.
In the weft insertion process, the speed of the weft flight speed is increased by increasing the speed of the air flow, and the air flow speed is determined by the pressure. Therefore, the determination of the pressure must be based on the quality of the weft yarn, the number of the yarn, the width of the fabric, and the speed of the vehicle. When adjusting the pressure, it is necessary to observe whether the actual arrival time of the weft yarn is consistent with the set arrival time, and there is less breakage, no loose edges, and wefts are the limit to adjust the main nozzle pressure to the minimum.
