Semi-worsted yarn characteristics
Semi-worsted products were originally made up of many wool products, but now they are not limited to woolen textiles. They have been developed into cotton, silk, hemp and other multi-component fiber-mixed spinning products. The main features are as follows:
(1) Its variety is diverse and the raw materials are mixed. Moreover, most of them are dyed by loose fibers, some of them have strong rigidity, some are very slippery, some have fine fiber fineness, and the properties of raw materials vary widely.
(2) The yarn twist is generally larger than the same cotton yarn and combed yarn. Moreover, some products are strong crepe yarns, which makes it difficult to smash when splicing.
(3) After the raw materials are dyed, the strength of the single fibers is mostly damaged to varying degrees. Some fibers are dyed and become weaker, and the fibers are brittle, especially for cotton, wool, and velvet. When it is combed, short velvet is produced, which causes the yarn to have frequent defects. The electric cleaning has a high shear rate and a large number of joints, so the joint requirements are higher.
(4) The yarn grade is high, mostly in the form of orders. The customer has a high demand for the appearance of the yarn, and the joint has a stronger and more appearance. In particular, the joints of some single-strand yarns of high-speed large circular machines are particularly special.
In view of the above characteristics, the use of an
automatic cone winder to produce semi-worsted yarns can easily cause poor splicing and internal quality problems of the package. However, in the case of semi-worsted yarns with high grade and high price, the control of the yarn return rate of the automatic winder can not be ignored. Therefore, the key to the production of semi-worsted yarns by automatic winder is to solve the appearance and strength of the joint, improve the intrinsic quality of the package and control the yarn return rate.
